No Data Collection
Babel Reader does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party.
Local Storage
Your imported books, reading positions, and preferences are stored on your device using Apple’s standard storage mechanisms. If you enable the optional iCloud Library Sync feature, this data is also stored in your private iCloud account and synchronised across your Apple devices. It remains private to you and is never accessible to the developer.
On-Device Translation
Translation is performed using Apple’s on-device Translation framework. No text from your books is sent to any server. All processing happens locally on your device.
Network Connections
Babel Reader does not connect to any servers operated by the developer. It contains no analytics services, advertising networks, or third-party tracking of any kind. When the optional iCloud Library Sync feature is enabled, the app communicates with Apple’s iCloud servers to sync your data across your devices — this data is stored exclusively in your private iCloud account and is never accessible to the developer.
No Tracking
This app contains no third-party tracking SDKs, analytics libraries, or advertising frameworks.
