Unicode Companion does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
Data stored on your device
The app stores your favourites and recently viewed characters locally on your device using standard system storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer.
Camera access
On iPhone and iPad, the app can optionally use the camera to scan text in the real world. All image processing happens entirely on your device using Apple’s built-in Vision framework. No images or recognised text are transmitted anywhere.
Analytics and tracking
The app contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
