iOS or iPadOS will inform you that you have to download a language to your device the first time you use that language with Babel Reader. You only have to do this once.
If you select the same languages for source language (“translate from”) and target language (“translate to”), you will get an error message. This can also happen if you select “translate from”: automatic and the source language is identical to that language. Just make sure that the two languages are different and Babel Reader will translate for you any paragraph you tip.
