The first time you select a language for translation, iOS or iPadOS will prompt you to download it. You only need to do this once per language. You only have to do this once.
If you select the same languages for source language (“translate from”) and target language (“translate to”), you will get an error message. This can also happen if you select “translate from”: automatic and the source language is identical to that language. Just make sure the two languages are different, and Babel Reader will translate any paragraph you tap.
You’ll find the options for hyphenation (on/off) and text alignment (flush left, justified, flush right, and centred) in the Settings Menu. Try them out to find out what works best for you.
